We host a variety of events at ZiegenVine Homestead.   From Goat Yoga to Sunset Yoga with S'mores and starting Sept 2023 we are adding events for Veterans as well as Goat Milk Soap making demonstrations and classes!  We hope you will consider joining us for an event!

Just what is Goat Yoga on the Homestead??  

We started offering Goat Yoga on the Homestead in April of 2017 an opportunity to connect with nature and enjoy some farm fresh air!  Yoga with Goats is 100% a way to forget about the world events, find joy in life and get a little exercise!   

​

Goat Yoga offers something for everyone regardless of yoga experience or ability. In addition to typical benefits of yoga, like practice slowing down and being present, this unique opportunity offers people the chance to tune into nature and, in the process, into themselves. Try doing a pose with an adorable baby goat (or kid) nuzzling up to you without smiling - even if you say you dont like animals or you are a "city girl" !  Goat Yoga is where you want to be!

What is Sunset Yoga and Sound Bath? 

An evening of mindful body movement followed by deep sound healing to relax and balance your whole soul. Followed by a campfire and s'mores!

What is Coffee (& Breakfast) with Goats?

Something new in 2023,  we started on September 12th, 2023.  We are extending an invitation to all US Military Veterans to join us for a cup of coffee and a visit with our herd of goats.  This event is new and no cost to attend. This event is co-sponsored by the Steuben County PFC Joseph P. Dwyer Peer Support Program.

• 10 am open to visitors-  

  • visitors are welcome to meet the animals on the Homestead:  

    • including goats, cows, chickens, ducks & turkeys

  • Explore the walking trails

  • Learn about Farmstays on the property 

• 11 am  Saw Mill Demo-turning trees into lumber

• 1 pm Goat Milk Soap Making Demonstration 

• 2:30 pm Saw Mill Demo- milling lumber

• 3:30 p.m. Canning Demo 

 

Farm Store - Open from 10-6 pm

• Goat Milk soap

• Honey made from bees in Homestead

• Maple Syrup made from Trees on property

• Whole Turkeys and broiler chickens
